Important to note: This original artwork was created using soft pastels on pastel paper, so the surface holds layers of pigment. Every mark is intentional, yet organic. Slight variations, textures, and imperfections are not flaws but evidence of the work’s creation and authenticity

The artwork has been professionally sealed with a fixative spray to stabilise the pigment. However, due to the delicate nature of pastel, careful handling and framing are essential for long-term preservation.

Packaging

• Shipped flat only (never rolled) to preserve surface integrity

• Protected with glassine paper to prevent smudging

• Reinforced with rigid boards and archival materials

• Outer packaging designed to prevent bending or pressure damage

• All sales are final

• Returns only accepted for damaged or incorrect items

• Contact must be made within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. 

Due to the nature of soft pastel:

• Always frame behind UV-protective glass if possible 

• Use a mount/mat board to prevent the artwork touching the glass surface

• Avoid direct contact with the artwork surface

• Keep away from high humidity and direct sunlight

Although the artwork is sealed with fixative, this does not fully protect against smudging or pigment movement. Proper framing is essential to preserve the piece in its original condition.
